Clint Eastwood may be a Hollywood legend but I never really care much for him as
an actor. In all five of the Dirty Harry movies he had just one facial expression.
During production period there were rumors about Grand Torino being number 6th
in the Dirty Harry series. Also there have been speculations that GRAND TORINO
may be the last film that Eastwood would star as the leading protagonist.

As the age of 78 Clint Eastwood starred in GRAND TORINO as Walt Kowalski.
Walt is a disgruntled Korean War veteran in Detroit appears to be somewhat of a
racist at first as he complains about Asian people taking over the neighborhood.
Gradually he befriends his next door neighbors and becomes more and more
involved in their lives. In the end he has to make a life-and-death decision in order
to let justice prevail. GRNAD TORINO begins and ends with a funeral.

One of Eastwood’s children, Scott Eastwood has a small role in the film. Let’s see
if you can find out which one is he. And the original music is produced by
Eastwood’s eldest son, Kyle Eastwood. I know most people don’t sit through the
credits in the end. But I highly recommend you stay tuned as the credits begin to
roll. You’ll hear the title song performed by Clint Eastwood first and then followed
by Jamie Callum. Eastwood’s vocal brings me a sense of nostalgia and it’s
almost like an ending to an old era where all-American alpha-male was once
powerful.

Releasing date in Taiwan:27th February 2009
