劇情簡介
「從前，開始喔…」
童書老作家田邊正準備接受「國家兒童文學館」的獻禮，但這份獻禮卻讓封筆多年的他，勾起了塵封廿年的過往記憶。田邊感到不安，因為他畢生成就的起點，是童書「不倒翁」的出版，然而這本書的原創，是「偷」來的。他偷了兒子小遠童年玩伴「安安」的點子，寫就了「不倒翁」，才讓他苦盡甘來地出版了第一本書，並一夕成名。小遠是田邊最忠實的聽眾，卻因為這件事不願再相信父親，成為田邊此生最大的遺憾，也因此封筆不再創作。
田邊萌發了「還書」的念頭，他堅決在接受獻禮之前，找到當年兒子玩伴「安安」，歸還這本書，為自己的創作生涯做出交代。
罹患骨肉瘤(Osteosarcoma)的小咖，左腳完全被切除，只剩下一隻腳——只能跳，此時因緣巧合的跳進了田邊的生命，老人小孩展開了一段奇妙的旅程…。南部鄉下充滿美麗的驚奇，小咖獨腳跳躍的身影，深深打動了老作家，老作家以為凋零的想像樹再度萌芽。他最後能夠重新面對自己，再度提筆嗎?
導演介紹
林福清，1964年生，台灣台南人。曾以動畫片【逃獄】，獲第十一屆金穗獎。2008年，劇情長片【不倒翁的奇幻旅程】獲得新聞局97年度輔導金，並於2011年完成。

Synopsis
Having lost his left leg to bone cancer, Ka is left with only one leg to jump with. When he is discharged from the hospital, Dr. Chen gives him a present: a child's picture book entitled Rolypoly. The doctor tells him, "Jump five million times, and you'll see Rolypoly."
Tian Bian, a name to conjure with in the world of children's picture books, is preparing to accept a gift at the opening of the National Museum of Children's Literature: an outsized statue of Rolypoly. But the preparations bring back with them memories of twenty years ago, ones that he had long repressed. RolyPoly had been the first of the works by which he had risen, but the idea for the book had been stolen from Anan, a childhood friend of his son Yuan. RolyPoly had brought him fame and fortune, but it had lost him the trust of his son, who knew of his theft. It had always been the greatest regret of his life. He realizes that before he can accept this gift, he must find Anan and somehow pay back his debt.
Setting out, the old writer happens upon the little boy, and they start a journey together, in a trip that mingles the real with the fantastic. What will happen to them?
